GoGreece.com presents a new search engine that allows visitors to look for keywords in the entire GoGreece.com directory. In the past a search for a keyword included only web sites reviewed by our team. The new search permits the specification of a set of sites to search: reviewed only, the entire GoGreece database, and recently submitted URLs.

GoGreece.com introduces a compact and easy to use utility for accessing Greek Radio Internet broadcasts. The GoGreece Radio Control is a tool written in Javascript, that lists all Greek Radio stations offering Real Audio broadcasts together with links to their live broadcast and respective web site.

In an effort to improve the communication between GoGreece visitors, a Chat server is added at chat.gogreece.com. The GoGreece.com chat server allows the use of any IRC-compliant or MS Comic Chat program to chat in real time with other GoGreece visitors. In order to accommodate different discussion content the GoGreece.com chat server provides seven different chat rooms, including Travel, Business, and Sports.

The GoGreece.com development team presents a new discussion forum format and message exchange system. The new system allows more organized indexes, a search mechanism, and access control.

Gogreece.com announces its new banner advertising system and plans. GoGreece.com sponsors can now choose the number of banner exposures they would like to purchase as well as the sections they would like their banners to appear. A new sponsor reporting utility is added to provide real-time access to banner exposures, "clickthrus," and relevant statistics.

GoGreece.com and Hellenic Travelling announce a joint effort to create the most comprehensive Greek travel information center, on the Internet. This extension of the GoGreece.com Travel section will include transportation schedules, accommodation information, and directories of agencies that can provide travel information for Greece.

In response to its popularity, the GoGreece.com Classified section was expanded to include more sections. Some of the new sections include Genealogy, Merchandise, Collectibles, Cars, and Lost and Found.

GoGreece in cooperation with The travlang Company, presents the Greek language section in "Foreign Languages for Travelers," a well known Internet stop for world travelers! World travelers to Greece can now use Travlang's Greek Section to learn Greek words and expressions, useful for getting around while in Greece. Site supports over 50 different languages.

Travalang.com has received numerous awards, including Yahoo's Cool site, NetGuide's Gold Site, Lyco's Top 5% Site, Magellan's four star site, Excite's four star site, and Webcrawler's Select site.

Pedia a web site created by Greek teachers and students, represents an effort to bring closer Greek students and educators, and their counterparts around the world.
